I didn’t just start making these shorts to sell fightwear. I started making them to give back to the fighters.

Up and coming athletes don’t always get the spotlight they deserve. Even when they’re sponsored, most still work full time jobs while chasing their dream. Balancing work, life, and intense training isn’t easy.

I know that firsthand. I’m still very early in my own professional career, only a year in, and I’m still learning how to balance it all myself. The pressure is real, and it doesn’t take much for things to feel overwhelming.

That’s another reason why I decided to make these shorts, not just as gear, but as a way to support fighters who are in the same position, putting in the work every day behind the scenes.

Tiana

With only two years of training, Tiana quickly found her rhythm in Muay Thai and has already spent the past year competing in amateur fights. Now stepping onto the professional scene, she’s focused on continuing to grow and test herself in the sport.
Outside the gym, she’s studying a double degree in Psychology and Sport & Exercise Science. Before Muay Thai, she represented NSW in swimming, bringing that same competitive mindset into the ring.
Favourite technique: Hook–cross
Post-fight food: Any sweet dessert
Goal: Become the best in the 57–58kg division.

Pierre

Pierre has been training for seven years, with the last two competing on the professional scene. With years of dedication behind him, he brings a composed and calculated style into the ring.
Outside the ring, Pierre coaches at the University of Sydney Muay Thai Club, sharing his knowledge with other students while balancing his own training and studies. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney.
Favourite technique: Left hook
Post-fight food: Anything and everything, especially Biscoff
Goal: Keep improving and fight tougher opponents.

Claire

Coming out of Belfast, Claire began her combat sports journey in MMA in 2019, before moving into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where she excelled and won multiple competitions. In 2023, she decided to take on a new challenge and transitioned into Muay Thai, stepping into the ring for her first amateur fight.
Determined to make the most of every opportunity, Claire moved to Australia to gain more experience and continue pushing herself in the sport.
Favourite weapon: Left knee
Post-fight food: Chocolate biscuits or cookies
Goal: Return to Ireland to help grow the female Muay Thai scene and inspire more women to step into the sport.

Sarkis

Sarkis began his Muay Thai journey at SRG Thai Boxing Gym in 2013 and has since developed into a seasoned veteran of the sport. Over the years, he spent five years living and training in Thailand, sharpening his skills at the heart of Muay Thai.
Known for his composed and technical style, Sarkis has competed internationally across France, Japan, China, and Thailand, gaining valuable experience on the global stage.
Now back competing in Australia, Sarkis continues to represent SRG while showcasing his high-level craft in the ring.
Favourite technique: Teep (push kick)
Favourite food: Authentic Thai food
Goal: Fight more in Australia and showcase his style to the local crowd.

Chelsea

I picked up my first pair of gloves in 2020 at SRG just to try something new, but quickly fell in love with the sport.
After some time, we decided to test my skills. That moment naturally led into amateur fights, then I stepped into the professional ranks in 2025.
Becoming a professional fighter was never the original plan, but it’s a path I wouldn’t change and I’m enjoying every step of the journey.
I’ve always joked around with the phrase “I’m just a girl” and eventually decided to turn that joke into something.
Than Just a Girl was born.
Favourite technique: All Knees
Post-fight food: Soft chewy cookies or a chocolate brownie
Goal: See how far I can go in the next couple of years, maybe even bring home a belt.
